Suitable for thicknesses ranging from 0.375 to 6 inches, this method uses blades specially designed for these metals, ensuring clean and reliable cuts. It is particularly effective for straight cuts or simple shapes (rectangle).

Unlike methods that generate high heat, saw cutting minimizes thermal impacts, avoiding any alteration of the metal's characteristics, such as resistance to corrosion or extreme temperatures.

Plate Saw
JACQUET’s plate sawing capabilities allow for plates up to 79” wide and 240” long to be band saw cut, while holding width tolerances up to +-.030″. Plate sawing is especially effective for long strips to be cut from plate, or for applications that require a non-heat effected zone.
Bar Saw
JACQUET provides precision saw cutting of bars, pipes, and structural shapes up to 18” in diameter. Saws are capable of holding tolerances with 1/32”, and can also offer miter cutting when required.
